About me

Even before I began lessons, I loved playing the piano. I loved experimenting and trying new things.

I received classical training from the age of 7 and studied with some excellent and truly inspiring teachers. I earned Level 10 piano, advanced harmony, counterpoint, history, and analysis from the Royal Conservatory. During this time, I enjoyed performing as well as accompanying other instrumentalists and choirs.

I began teaching piano while still in high school. I took a break from teaching while I earned degrees from both the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Alberta.

Since 2015, when our family moved “back home” to Saskatoon, I have been slowly building my piano studio. And I’ve loved every minute of it.

I am continually seeking opportunities for professional development, bringing new ideas and resources into the studio.

When I’m not playing and teaching piano, I can usually be found outdoors – hiking, biking, or cross-country skiing with my family.
